Guam firefighters this afternoon battled an abandoned building fire on Estralita Street in Tamuning.
The blaze sent clouds of thick smoke up over the area.
Guam Fire Department spokesman Kevin Reilly reports the 911 call came in just before 4 p.m. Engines 1 and 4 responded along with medics and a rescue unit.
Reilly says there were no occupants in the building and no injuries were reported.
