Absentee Voting for Primary Election Has Begun


Guam – Absentee voting for the August 30th primary election  began today.

The Guam Election Commission (GEC) says voters with disabilities or those who will be off island for otherwise unable to vote on that day are now allowed to submit an absentee ballot.

Absentee voters must be registered voters, show proof of identity and sign an affidavit at the GEC.

Absentee ballots can be cast from 8 AM to 5 PM on weekdays.

The GEC has also scheduled home-bound voting for those voters unable to leave their homes.

As of noon today, only 2 voters had cast absentee ballots.
