Accident Victim Dies From Injuries; 16th Traffic Related Fatality

Guam – On Friday Nov. 22nd a man passed away from injuries sustained during a car accident that happened on Nov. 10th.

 Rafael Joaquin is now the 16th traffic related fatality on Guam this year. According to a release from GPD PIO A.J. Balajadia, the 18 year old male from Barrigada was the driver of a 2003 Hyundai Tiburon that was involved in a crash with a 20087 Mazda CX9. The accident happened at 3:18am on Sunday Nov. 10th on Route 10 near the Price Elementary School in Mangilao. The Mazda had two occupants while Joaquins vehicle or the Tiburon had five occupants. The crash is still under investigation.

on Route 10, by Price Elementary School, Mangilao.

The male drive of the Hyundai passed away from his injuries on Friday, November 22, 2013 while at Naval Hospital.

Mr. Rafael Joaquin, m/Gua/18/Barrigada marks Guam’s 16th Traffic related death of the year.

Guam Highway Patrol is conducting an investigation into this latest traffic fatality.
