John Paul Manuel, the former chief of staff of Congressman Michael San Nicolas, broke cover today and surfaced for an interview with Andrea Pellacani on NewsTalk K57.
During the interview, Manuel said he will ask the Guam Election Commission for a complete audit of the congressman’s campaign finances.
“GEC should do a full audit of his campaign finances. I know there are improprieties,” Manuel said.
He added that the congressman’s campaign finances are not detailed and very vague.
“But if they do a full audit, with all the receipts, everything would be laid bare,” Manuel said.
Manuel said that as campaign chairman, he knows exactly where campaign funds were used for.
According to Manuel, he is already meeting with a lawyer.
Manuel also said a person known to the congressman has been threatening him physically.
“This individual recently moved to Washington D.C. so I feel more comfortable now,” he said.
