Guam – Acting Guam Police Chief Rick Leon Guerrero told a legislative hearing this morning [Tuesday] to ask lawmakers to consider providing more funds to buy more police cars.

Chief Leon Guerrero says there is an immediate need for 25 new patrol vehicles to carry out the day to day patrol requirements of GPD.

As it stands now, Leon Guerrero said it would cost more than $70-thousand dollars to repair GPD’s fleet of inoperable cars and motorcycles.
