AECOM Gets $85M DoD Environmental Contract; 35% of the Work on Guam

Guam – AECOM Technical Services of Los Angeles has been awarded a contract worth $85-million dollars in support of the Navy’s Environmental Restoration Program. 35% of the work will be done here on Guam.

The announcement on defense.com says the contract is primarily for “architect-engineer environmental technical and engineering services.”

That includes the Installation Restoration Program and Munitions Response Program. The work is required in compliance with the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Ac, t and other similar programs within NAVFAC Pacific’s area of responsibility AOR. 

Work for this task order is expected to be completed by September 2013. 

The work will be done at various Navy and Marine Corps facilities within the NAVFAC Pacific AOR:

* Hawaii – 35%
* Guam -35%
* Other locations within the AOR -20%
* Continental U.S. -10%
* Other DoD and federal agencies may also be included.

The work is slated to be completed by September 2017. 

NAVFAC Pacific conducted the bidding. Only one proposal was received and that was AECOM’s.
