The Department of Parks and Recreation has announced that the Agaña Pool will be closed to the public again due to what it calls an “accidental fecal release.”

According to Parks & Rec Director Richard Ybanez, the pool will reopen on Sunday, Oct. 27, from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

For the safety of pool patrons, the Agaña Pool will be closed for proper disinfection and sanitation.

As a reminder to the public, Ybanez said repairs to the Agaña Pool’s filtration system also remain ongoing.

Following the reopening of the pool this Sunday, Oct. 27, limited operating hours will continue Tuesday through Sunday from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
