Air Force Crane Tips Over in Harmon Parking Lot; Airman Injured

Guam – An Air Force crane flipped over onto it’s side today in the Harmon industrial park.

 

 

The accident happened a little before noon this morning in the Genghis Khan furniture parking lot. The crane is owned by the Air Force’s Red Horse squadron. Red Horse is the Air Force’s equivalent of the Navy’s seabees. Andersen public affairs officer tech sgt. Mike Andriacco says that the crane was in Harmon undergoing routine maintenance. It fell off the back of a trailer when crews were trying to load it for transport. The driver of the crane was injured he was sentto the naval hospital where he is in stable condition
