Albert T. Manibusan Jr. Charged With DUI & Reckless Driving in Accident That Totaled Police Cruiser


Guam – 26 year old Albert Thomas Manibusan Jr. has been booked and confined on DUI and Reckless Driving charges after the PT Cruiser he was driving rear-ended a Guam Police vehicle in an early morning crash in Hagatna.

Acting Guam Police Spokesman Sgt. Mike Aguon reports that the accident happened about 1:40 am on Route 1 in front of the Bank of Hawaii.

A Guam Police Officer in an official marked patrol car was driving South on Route 1 when Manibusan’s 2003 PT Cruiser reportedly struck him from behind and forced his vehicle into a tree that was in the median.

The PT Cruiser overturned. The police vehicle was badly damaged.

Both Manibusan and the police officer were treated and released from GMH.

Manibusan has been charged with:

* DUI with Injuries

* Reckless Driving with Injuries
