All Bank of Guam locations, except the one at Andersen, have been closed in compliance with Executive Order 2020-28 issued by Gov. Lou Leon Guerrero calling for a mandatory Stay-at-Home Order.
According to Bank of Guam president and CEO Joaquin Cook, the decision was not made lightly and he acknowledged that this will have a great impact.
“But this virus continues to shift our daily lives in a way none of us could have ever imagined, hitting us hard where it matters most. Like many of you, it has touched our family, friends and businesses. Just this weekend, we learned that this virus once again has touched another member of our Bank of Guam Familia. The employee is in home isolation and we continue to work alongside the Department of Public Health and Social Services to ensure all those who may have been in contact are notified and tested,” Cook said.
As always, Cook said, Bank of Guam will remain committed to doing its best for its customers and employees, which includes providing the safest environment that for all who work, bank, and visit any and all BoG locations.
“For us, this temporary closure allows us to continue to be part of the fight to help stop the spread and keep us all safe. In the days ahead, our commitment to you remains. We encourage you to take this time to explore one of the many other ways to bank with us, conveniently and from the safety of your homes until the emergency order is lifted. I encourage you to visit our website often for the most recent updates to our hours and operations as well as links to COVID-19 resources.
