Guam – Another sexual abuse case has been lodged against the Archdiocese of Agana.

The plaintiff, who is now 48 years old, is identified by his initials A.A. He says he was 11 or 12 years old when the alleged abuse started.

The victim alleges it began when he was an altar boy at Saint Anthony Church. There, he says he was molested by Father Antonio Cruz, Tamuning Parishioner James Untalan and another altar boy “on numerous occasions.” T

he abuse allegedly began after he received a citation from the police while riding home on his moped. He was afraid to tell his parents about the ticket and consulted with Untalan.

A.A. says he was repeatedly molested by Cruz, Untalan and the other altar boy, who warned him that if he told anyone, he would go to hell and his family would shame and disown him.

A.A. is seeking $5 million in damages.
