American Idol World Tour For U.S. Armed Forces Ends On Guam


Guam- The final stop of the American Idol Armed Forces World Tour ended on Guam last Friday, August 24.

 The Idols World Tour features finalists from the hit FOX TV show over the last 4 years. They brought entertainment to more than 30 thousand troops and their families in over 27 military installations and 12 countries since June. The artists that performed on island include Lauren Turner, Jovany Barreto, Ashton Jones, John Schulz and Rachel Smyth-Godinger.

The event was organized by Armed Forces Entertainment. The group performed at Molly McGee’s on Naval Base Guam.

The 12th season of American Idol starts in early 2013.
