On June 21st and the 28th from 9 am till 12 pm, the American Job Center in partnership with the Society for Human Resource Management will be hosting a free employment training program for people of all ages who are interested in free employment training.
During the training, you can expect professionals from SHRM to present the do’s and don’ts of resume writing as well as the interview process.
With the pandemic causing issues on our island affecting the economy and business owners, jobs were harder to find and, according to Janela Carrera, now that the island has slowly opened up again, we are starting to see some economic growth and businesses reopening.
She added that with the many jobs opening up the department of labor would like to give the community resources to give them a better chance at success.
