Andersen AFB 36th Wing Commander Boswell assigned to Pentagon as Deputy Chief of Staff, Manpower

The Air Force Friday announced that the Commander of the 36th Wing at Andersen Air Force Base on Guam has been re-assigned to the Pentagon.

According to a General Officer Assignment release from the Pentagon, Brig. Gen. Gentry W. Boswell has been appointed “director, manpower, organization and resources, Deputy Chief of Staff, Manpower, Personnel and Services, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.”

Brig. Gen. Boswell has served as Commander of the 36th Wing since June 2018.

The new commander of the 36th Wing was not named in the release.
