The 36th Wing is updating its COVID mitigation measures and policies for Andersen Air Force Base.

Effective 12:01 a.m. May 16, 2021, masks will not be required for fully COVID vaccinated personnel on AAFB.

Other changes to the Mitigation Measures Memorandum are intended to more closely align AAFB policies and procedures with Gov Guam, including quarantine policies.

A memo dated May 16, 2021, includes guidance removing the need to quarantine for fully vaccinated and specific “recovered” personnel, and allows non-vaccinated DoD-affiliated personnel to quarantine at home.

People are considered fully vaccinated 2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series (Pfizer or Moderna), or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine (Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen).

All travel still needs to be coordinated through the JRT Travelers are urged to refer to GovGuam Guidance for specific travel document requirements and other requirements.
