Andersen Force Protection Exercise Kicks Off TUESDAY


Guam – Andersen AFB personnel are scheduled to conduct a Force Protection exercise tomorrow, Tuesday April 10 through Thursday 12. The exercise will test Team Andersen’s ability to react to a variety of threats.

The community can expect increased traffic and noise activity around Andersen for the duration of the exercise. There may be variations of sirens, messages from loud speakers and alert vehicle and personnel responding to exercise areas. Persons conducting business on base can expect delays in traffic flow. Community members should be aware that any information put out during the time of the exercise on social media sites is exercise related.

Andersen AFB is a premier Air Force installation that hosts a variety of aircraft training events throughout the year in addition to hosting a rotating presence of bomber, tanker and fighter aircraft and permanently stationed RQ-4 Global Hawks.
