The Department of Administration is mailing out another 138 tax refund checks this week totaling $541,820.05.
The refund checks cover error-free returns filed on or before September 7 of last year.
No refunds for the 2019 tax year have been mailed out yet.
Individuals who owe fines to the Guam Judiciary or have unpaid bills to Guam Memorial Hospital have had their checks garnished.
The tax refund checks that have been mailed out in recent weeks are being sent to individuals who filed after last year’s April 15th tax filing deadline.
Last September, the administration fulfilled the court-ordered requirement to pay out all error-free returns within six months of the April 15 tax filing deadline.
