Guam – The number of sexual abuse cases against the Archdiocese of Agana continue to rise with another lawsuit filed in District Court bringing the total number of case to nearly 100.

On Monday, a complaint was filed against now deceased Father Antonio Cruz, who served as a priest at Our Lady of Peace and Safe Journey Catholic Church in Chalan Pago.

A.J.A. was 9 years old when the alleged sexual abuse occurred. According to court documents, AJA’s family would cook and wash clothes for Cruz.

In one instance, the victim alleges that he went to the Chalan Pago Rectory to deliver Cruz’s clothes, Cruz had instructed A.J.A. to put the clothes in Cruz’s bedroom. A.J.A states that while doing as instructed Cruz sexually molested him by pulling down his pants and touching his private area.
