Guam – There is an area of disturbed weather forming Southeast of Guam.
According to the National Weather Service, there is a monsoon trough that has become very active from south of Guam to the north of Chuuk.
Now through 10 AM, rain bands associated with a tropical disturbance centered east-southeast of Guam will be passing over the island from North to South. Showers and thunderstorms will bring locally heavy rain of an inch or more and occasional lighting most of Guam and the adjacent coastal waters.
If you will be driving, be alert for ponding of water on roads and low visibility in heavy rainfall. If you see lightning or hear thunder, seek shelter indoors or below decks.
