Guam – Armed robbery suspect Tomas Toves Quichocho has told police that “he was forced” to rob a 45 year old woman at knife point outside her Tumon Heights home early Saturday morning because his female accomplice threatened him with a gun.
Sunday, 32 year old Quichocho of Sinajana was arrested for the crime and he is being held for Robbery, Conspiracy, Guilt Established By Complicity, and Assault. Police then arrested 23 year old Jessilyn Ann Babauta of Yigo, who allegedly conspired with Quichocho in the robbery.
Babauta was formally charged with the Tumon Heights robbery in Superior Court on Tuesday. Her Magistrate report states that Quichocho told police that “he had met with Babauta at Golden Motel prior to the robbery” and Quichocho said that Babauta pointed a gun at the back of his “head and threatened to use the gun against him ‘If he didn’t do what she instructed him to do.'”
Both are also implicated in the robbery of a visiting Norweigian woman which occured a few hours before the Tumon Heights robbery Saturday.
Tomas Toves Quichocho, already accused of robbing a woman at knife point outside her home early Saturday morning, has now been implicated in the robbery of a visiting Norwegian woman a few hours earlier.
GPD Spokesman Officer A.J. Balajadia announced on Tuesday that investigators “discovered that both were involved in another robbery where the victim (female/Norwegian) was dropped off at the Agana Pool.“
