Guam – The Guam Department of Education (GDOE) is looking to fill over 300 vacancies for Academic School Year 2019-2020, to include positions supporting elementary schools, secondary schools and special programs.

For those who are interested, the department is inviting all stakeholders to attend its upcoming job fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. , on Wednesday, June 12, at Okkodo High School.

During the job fair, applicants will have the opportunity to submit their resumes directly to the GDOE Human Resources Division, and may also have the opportunity to interview directly with schools.

On-site interviews will be provided for teaching positions only, to include teachers, school counselors, and school librarians. On-site interviews will not be available for non-teaching positions.

Interested job seekers should bring a copy of their resume, and police and court clearances, if readily available.

“We look forward to bringing on new talented individuals to join our team,” GDOE Superintendent Jon Fernandez said. “Working in education is challenging, rewarding and also provides opportunities for advancement, whether it be at our schools or district offices. We look forward to meeting with all of this year’s applicants.”
