Arrests made in cruelty to animal video

Police have arrested a 24-year-old man for cruelty to an animal complaint.

Preliminary police reports suggest that a cruelty to an animal complaint was entertained by officers assigned to the Tumon-Tamuning Precinct Command, relative to a viral video depicting a man shooting a dog with a BB gun in the Harmon area by the Jack Peters warehouse.

A follow-up was conducted in which officers were able to locate both the individual responsible for shooting the dog and the individual recording the incident.

Officers later arrested 24-year-old Daimeionne Kaleo Greer for the offense of cruelty to an animal.

Also arrested was 34-year-old Jesse Pua Villagomez Jr. for the offense of guilt established by complicity.

Both men were subsequently booked and released. This case has been forwarded to the Office of the Attorney General for prosecution.
