The man who died in a motorcycle crash at Dead Man’s Curve in Asan last month has been identified as 34-year-old David Franklin Nededog Mendiola.

Guam Police Department spokesman Sgt. Paul Tapao released his name and the results of his autopsy this afternoon.

Mendiola died from multiple blunt force trauma, according to the autopsy report and his death has been ruled accidental.

The accident happened at about 7 o’clock on the evening of May 5th.

Mendiola was riding a black Harley-Davidson in the outer southbound lane of Marine Corps Drive in Asan when he lost control and ran off the roadway and slammed into the guard-rail.

Mendiola was thrown from the motorcycle. When GFD medics arrived on the scene, Mendiola was not breathing and he had no pulse. They rushed him to Guam Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
