Hagatna, Guam -(Friday, January 17) – The Guam Chamber of Commerce announced Nathan T. Taimanglo, Marketing & Investment Advisory Manager, as the 2013 Reina A. Leddy Guam Young Professional of the Year at The Event of the Year on Friday, January 17, hosted by the Guam Young Professionals, a committee of the Guam Chamber of Commerce, at the Outrigger Guam Resort.
“The Chamber is pleased to present its fourth Guam Young Professional of the Year Award honoring an individual who exemplifies professionalism and integrity in all aspects of his life, from the office to the community, Nathan was a young professional before the GYP was established. He is a shining example of an individual willing to role up his sleeves and work on whatever the task is before him. His commitment, can-do spirit and loyalty to his job, the Chamber and additional organizations that he is involved with makes him the role model of a young professional on Guam,” said Chamber President, David Leddy.
“This award is well-deserved,” said 2013 GYP Chairwoman, Melanie Mendiola. “Nathan has been an incredible supporter of the Guam Young Professionals. Since our inception in 2010, Nathan has dedicated numerous volunteer hours to the group’s various activities and has brought sound ideas and feedback to the group. His professionalism and overall desire to make a contribution to GYP, the Chamber, and the local community are second to none. We are privileged to have him as a member of the Guam Young Professionals.”
