Attorney General’s office to launch remote online notary

202

Remote online notarial services will soon be made available to the public using real-time audio-video communication technology like video conferencing.

A comment period leading up to the launch of remote notarial services began yesterday and will continue until close-of-business next Tuesday, August 18. The Office of the Attorney General, who administers the Notarial Program, advises the community to view the remote online notary requirements at www.oagguam.org and to submit comment via email to [email protected]

Executive Order 2020-25 temporarily suspends the physical presence of a notary public in order to get a document notarized. All other requirements such as a duly licensed notary residing in Guam must be adhered to.
