An auto run-off crash occurred in the early morning hours of Thursday in a usually busy spot in Tamuning.
The Guam Police Department is currently investigating the crash involving a Jeep slamming into Jerry’s Kitchen in Tamuning.
In a statement to PNC, GPD spokesperson Sgt. Paul Tapao said crash was not associated with DWI (driving while intoxicated).
Sgt. Tapao estimates that the crash occurred at around 1:30 am. No injuries were reported.
After the incident, photos displaying a red Jeep with flat tires and the restaurant’s badly damaged storefront were circulating heavily on social media.
PNC checked out the scene and saw cracked windows, tire marks on the sidewalk, and no employees working on-site.
The other establishments in the area did not sustain any damage.
Jerry’s Kitchen is an Asian fusion restaurant and is one of the multiple businesses that had to temporarily limit its operations because of the pandemic.
