Guam Fire Department units responded to a fatal crash around 9pm Sunday night, that left a male in his 20s dead.
Authorities say a vehicle slammed into a utility pole and left a man “pulseless and breathless”on Route 15/Hello Market in Yigo.
According to GFD spokesman Kevin Reilly, CPR was conducted at the scene on the unidentified male, who was the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle.
The driver had to be extricated from the vehicle using the Jaws of Life.
He was transported to GRMC with CPR conducted en route. GPD confirmed Monday morning that the man did not survive his severe injuries.
