The autopsies of two women who died in separate incidents last month have been completed.

Yesterday, Guam Police Department Spokesman Sgt. Paul Tapao released a statement indicating that the autopsy report for Luciana Polly came back confirming what is already known — that she was murdered.

Tapao says that Polly’s autopsy found that she had died as a result of multiple blunt force trauma to the head and her death is now classified as a homicide. The man accused of beating her to death is Katner Herry who remains behind bars on $100,000 cash bail. He is facing charges of murder and aggravated assault.

Today, Tapao released the autopsy findings for 57-year-old Akenime Walter, the pedestrian who died after being struck by a gray sedan in Mangilao.

The results of the autopsy revealed that the cause of death was due to multiple trauma. Her death has been ruled accidental, which could mean that no arrests will be made in the case.
