Autopsy on hit-and-run victim completed, results withheld

Guam – While they have received the autopsy report, police have yet to release the identity of a hit-and-run victim who died over the weekend.

According to the Office of the Attorney General, an autopsy was performed on Sunday. However, “pending notification of the family and out of respect for then, the findings are not available at this time.”

The  50-year-old male victim was struck on Saturday at around 11 p.m., as he was attempting to cross the eastbound lane in Maite near Kwong Hwa.

Police are searching for the hit-and-run driver and seeking information from the community regarding the crash. If you have information please contact GPD at 472-8911.
