The Guam Department of Education says it learned Wednesday that two B.P. Carbullido Elementary School Grab and Go workers tested positive for COVID-19.

The Department says it’s working with Public Health to contact trace other employees.

They say as of Wednesday, the employees identified as possible contacts will be self-isolating.

“The campus has already been thoroughly cleaned since the last date the workers were on campus due to preparation for the school’s opening,” said Isa Baza, GDOE’s spokesperson.

She goes on to say that since “not all employees were identified as possible contacts, the school remains operational at this time with a limited staff.”

Baza said the two identified individuals have not been on campus since July 30.
