Bank of Guam Donates $2,000 to GFA for Guam FA Cup Tournament


Guam –  The Bank of Guam recently donated $2,000 to Guam Football Association to hold the 6th Annual Guam FA Cup tournament, presented by Bank of Guam and Table 35 Restaurant & Bar.

Quality Distributors FC made is sixth appearance in the finals of the annual tournament and will face Table 35 Espada FC for the title Saturday at 7 p.m. Quality defeated the Cobras 4-1 in the semifinals with two goals from Scott Spindel and once each from Andre Gadia and Kaito Inoue. Keith Surber scored the Cobras’ lone goal. In the other semifinal, Table 35 Espada FC defeated defending champion Guam Shipyard 9-1.

Mark Chargualaf netted four goals and teammate Dylan Naputi scored twice for Table 35. Dominic Gadia, Nicolas Roberto and T.J. Atalig also scored for Table 35. Donald Weakley scored Guam Shipyard’s lone goal.

Admission is free to watch the games Saturday. An earlier consolation match will be played between the Southern Cobras and Guam Shipyard at 5 p.m.
