Bank Pacific Warns Customers Beware of Phishing Scam

Guam – A release from BankPacific is warning customers to beware of a phishing scam.

BankPacific has recently received a report of fraudulent e-mail that falsely appears to be sent by BankPacific.

The subject line of the e-mail states: “Upgrad Your Account”.  The e-mail informs the recipient that  “Your online Banking access has been out of our SSL Data, To upgrade your access, log on below!”.  The e-mail then includes a false link for the recipient to log on to their account.

Please note that this e-mail message is  fraudulent and you should not respond!

Please also be advised that BankPacific will never request from its customers or others, bank account information or sensitive personal information via telephone or unsecured e-mail.

BankPacific encourages all customers to be wary of suspicious telephone calls and e-mail messages.  Further you should never provide your account or personal information to anyone over the phone or through non secured e-mail.
