1-1-1 Okkodo Bulldogs desperate for a win. They challenged GW who is 2-1-2.
GUAM – OKKODO/GW these two schools no strangers to one another. Both desperately seeking a notch in the win column. The Geckos’ Clayton Mitchell finds the back of the net within the first few minutes, this after a pass over the defense from midfield. In the eighth minute, the Bulldogs answer back, it’s Jaythaniel Cruz getting an assist from Austin Blaz. In the 25th minute of the game, the Geckos’ Xavier Naputi blows past two OKKODO defenders and takes the shot, off a GECKO! GOAL! Goaltending on point in this try as both teams might, nothing doing on either side. 2-1 at the half. Second half starts with GW committing a costly penalty. That gives the Bulldogs a free kick AND Rai Santos capitalizes, SCORES the equalizer. That’s where it locked up. Both teams get contribution from the Offense and Defense sides. BUT no more goals. Bulldogs and Geckos evenly match and BOTH have to settle for the tie.
