TUMON – A two-person open beach volleyball tournament will take place Saturday, June 28, starting at 8 a.m. at the Beach Bar at Gun Beach, with the proceeds benefitting the Guam national beach volleyball team, according to team manager Kaz Endo.

“All money raised will help send the men’s and women’s teams to the Pacific Games next month,” said Endo. “We invite everyone to register and help support our team as they represent our island in Papua New Guinea!”

Registration is now open at maulegvibe.com, and players may sign up as a team, or request to be paired with a partner. The tournament will feature a mixed team division for $20 per person and a 16 and under division for $10 per person. Prize packages will be awarded to the top three teams in each division.

The tournament is sponsored by VIBE and is to help the Guam Volleyball Federation.
