Biba Magic Theater at The Westin Resort Guam is Guam’s only close-up magic show and has won the TripAdvisor Award of Excellence four years in a row.

Due to Covid, the theater has been shuttered for the last 19 months. Now they are poised to become the first of Guam’s nightly live theater shows to reopen. For this limited 14 show run, Biba Magic is enforcing social distancing, a vaccine requirement for all guests old enough to be vaccinated, and requiring masks to be worn by all throughout the show. “As a father, I asked myself how would it have to be set up for me to bring my kids,” explains owner Nabil Murday. “Your safety is our priority, so I have placed special air purifiers that actively eliminate Covid-19 throughout the theater. Seeing magic up-close is an unforgettable experience that I want to preserve.”

“Opening up before tourism has really returned is a huge challenge,” says Nabil, “but with everything we’ve been through as a community, we could all use more joy and wonder in our lives. I hope The Biba Magic Holiday Show does that for people. I reached out to Hank about returning for this run. He adds so much to the show!”

“Well of course I do,” jokes Hank Rice, “Magic is definitely needed in these tough times and it is amazing how magic can brighten up the holiday spirit for people of all ages. Biba Magic will be a remedy for many who need that reminder that we can all still enjoy going out and share fun times with our friends and family.”
