A bill was recently introduced to use submarine cables to help fund the Chamorro Land Trust Commission.
Speaker Therese Terlaje introduced the substitute bill that deals with the laying of submarine cables at Alupang.
Bill No. 36-36, which was originally introduced by Senator Joe San Agustin, seeks to authorize a commercial submerged land license agreement between the government of Guam, specifically the CHamoru Land Trust Commission, and Teleguam Holdings.
