Bill to improve benefits for uniformed personnel heard

A public hearing was held Thursday on a bill to conduct a study to improve benefits for uniformed personnel.

Bill 137-(36) was introduced to help appropriate funds to conduct a study for the improvement of our uniformed personnel’s retirement benefits.

This study will be used to find the best solution to increase retention within uniformed agencies, increase the satisfaction of retirees, and help recruit more employees.
