Senator Tony Ada has introduced a pair of bills designed to address Guam’s
abandoned vehicle problem.

Bill No. 155-36 updates existing law to make it easier for authorities to identify and dispose of abandoned vehicles while Bill No. 156-36 adds Civil Orders of Abatement as a remedy for public and private nuisances which include abandoned vehicles.

“I’m hopeful that both these bills will be enacted as their provisions will work in
concert to help with the long-standing problem of the disposal of abandoned
vehicles on Guam,” Senator Ada said.

He added: “I want to thank Senators Chris Dueñas and James Moylan for their co-sponsorship and input.”
