Black Construction Receives National Award From Associated Builders and Contractors


Guam –  The Guam Contractors Association Wednesday presented Black Construction Corporation with national award from the Associated Builders and Contractors.

Gov. Eddie Calvo was on hand for the presentation.

Black Construction won top honors in the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) National Excellence in Construction competition. The company was honored by ABC with the “Eagle Award” for its Kosrae State Correctional Facility project in the “Institutional: Under $5 Million” category.

The Eagle Award is the highest award given in each category in the National Excellence in Construction competition. 

This marks the first time a Guam company has won this top national award competing among the best of the best of the nation’s top construction firms.
