Guam – Another break-in at a Guam Public School is under investigation, after Benavente Middle School staff discovered that the school was broken into and vandalized over the weekend.
BMS Maintenance Custodian Nick Guerrero says he reported the vandalism to police after he arrived at work at about 6:45am this morning. Guerrero first noticed that the south side of the Main Office was open and damaged. It was later discovered that Room #1 of the A-Wing Building was also broken into as well as the Gym and the Cafeteria, where the intruders sprayed foam from a fire extinguisher all over the room.
School Personnel are still taking inventory of the items in the rooms but Guerrero says it appears that nothing was taken. He added that the Maintenance Department was able to clean up and secure the buildings today.
BMS was also broken into and vandalized in December of last year.
