This was the Superintendent’s second “Above Satisfactory” rating in a row
Guam – If it were a report card, there would be an A at the top. Superintendent Jon Fernandez last night received an “Above Satisfactory” rating from the Guam Education Board. The annual evaluation rates the leader of the Department of Education on the duties and responsibilities outlined in his contract.
During a press conference on the evaluation this morning Fernandez said 2014 has been a good year for DOE but noted several goals for 2015.
The evaluation is usually completed in January or February but GEB Vice Chair Mary Gutierrez said the board wanted the Superintendent to begin the new year with his evaluation in hand.
