BOG: 40 Volunteers Talk to Students About Credit on “Get Smart About Credit Day”


Guam – (October 22)  – About 40 volunteers Volunteers representing the island’s financial services industry visited 8 of Guam’s high schools and spoke with 600 students during Guam’s annual “Get Smart About Credit Day.” 

The subject matter this year focused on identity theft and credit issues.  The following schools participated:  Academy of Our Lady of Guam, Father Duenas Memorial School, Notre Dame High School, Southern High, JFK High School, Evangelical Christian Academy and Guam Adventist Academy.  Simon Sanchez will be visited on October 28.

A total of 40 volunteers came from Bank of Guam, Marianas Finance, ANZ, Citibank, University of Guam, Association of Government Accountants and the Office of the Public Auditor.
