BOG Volunteers Visit Schools for 13th Annual “Teach Children to Save” Day


Hagatna, Guam – (April 22) – National Teach Children to Save Day, the annual American Bankers Association program to promote financial literacy, went as scheduled today, with 62 volunteers from Bank of Guam, ANZ Bank and Personal Finance.   

Visiting eight elementary schools, the volunteers educated our island’s youth on the importance of saving, reaching 1,284 students.  Thank you to the many volunteers and the following schools for participating in this worthwhile event:

St. Anthony Catholic School, Bishop Baumgartner, Tamuning Elementary, DL Perez Elementary, Harry Truman Elementary, MA Ulloa Elementary, BP Carbulido Elementary and JQ San Miguel Elementary.
