Bordallo Participating in the Red Cross Holiday Mail Heroes Program

Guam – Guam Congressman Madeleine Bordallo is participating in the annual Red Cross Holiday Mail for Heroes program.

The program involves the collection of greeting cards from October through early December and then the cards are distributed  to military installations, veterans’ hospitals and other locations.

In her release, Congresswoman Bordallo is quoted as saying: “I have visited Iraq and Afghanistan many times, and met with our servicemembers from Guam. I know they appreciate the mail and care packages they get, and I encourage others to participate in the Holiday Mail for Heroes program.

Bordallo Joins Colleagues, Congressional Staff in Participating in the Holiday Mail for Heroes Program
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – November 28, 2012 – Washington, D.C. –

Congresswoman Madeleine Z. Bordallo today joined her colleagues and congressional staff in participating in the annual Red Cross Holiday Mail for Heroes program. The event, now in its sixth year, is an opportunity to sign holiday cards for servicemembers, veterans and their families.

The Red Cross collects cards between October and early December, and distributes them to military installations, veterans’ hospitals and other locations. To learn more about how to participate in the Holiday Mail for Heroes program, click here..
