Guam – Congresswoman Madeleine Bordallo talks with, from left, Christopher San Nicolas, program coordinator, and Pete Roberto, counselor, of GCC’s College Access Challenge Grant Program in the program’s training room in the new GCC Student Center.
Bordallo and two members of her staff toured the center on Monday, January 30. The congresswoman was on hand briefly last December 9, when the center opened.
Yesterday, [Monday], she visited the entire facility, stopping in the new GCC Health Center, the Center for Student Involvement, the federally funded Project AIM and College Access Challenge Grant Program offices, and the training room and computer lab.
“It’s a beautiful facility,” said Bordallo, noting GCC’s use of $3.9 million in ARRA funding to build the center.
