The Christmas Village in the heart of Tumon is a tradition for the holidays which will feature local attractions, lights and music.

Guam – The Guam Visitors Bureau (GVB) is launching the annual Christmas Village at 6 p.m. tonight, November 27, featuring the year’s theme of “Christmas on Guam.”

The Christmas Village is a holiday tradition that is held each year in the heart of Tumon. Located across Proa Restaurant and GVB, the village lights will operate daily starting today, November 27, to January 8 from 6 p.m. to midnight.

GVB’s Public Information Officer, Josh Tyquiengco, invites everyone to enjoy their theme, Christmas on Guam, which will feature local attractions, holiday decorations, lights and music. Tyquiengco invites the community to experience the Christmas Village, which will hold different attractions geared towards local themes.

In addition to the Christmas Village launch tonight, Tyquiengco says there are many other places in Tumon that will be featuring their own holiday themed attractions, such as the Hilton’s Holiday Train and the Holiday Gingerbread House at Hyatt.

“The Shop Guam Festival is ongoing as well, and I know that with Thanksgiving weekend there’s gonna be a lot of shopping going on, and so we just encourage everyone to download the free app and take advantage of the savings. There are over a hundred vendors that are gonna be offering different types of discounts and savings for visitors and local residents to utilize and enjoy,” says Tyquiengco.

GVB invites you to visit the Christmas Village during the holidays for a complete experience of Christmas on Guam.
