Guam – Gov. Eddie Baza Calvo presented Martin Roush, Guam Waterworks general manager, with the Governor’s Award in a small ceremony Monday afternoon at Adelup.
Roush’s children, Consolidated Commission on Utilities chairman Simon Sanchez and GWA employees were present and helped celebrate Roush’s career at the agency.
The governor thanked Roush for his work at GWA, saying he’s done a lot to improve Guam’s water and wastewater infrastructure and ensuring this important resource is clean and reliable for all Guamanians.
Roush announced his resignation “for personal reasons” in a letter to employees on June 19. His resignation becomes effective August 24th.
