Guam – Even though the outcome is subject to a recount, the apparent winners in Tuesday’s Gubernatorial election, Eddie Calvo and Ray Tenorio have already announced plans for their transition team.
A release states that “Governor-elect Eddie Calvo and Lt. Governor-elect Ray Tenorio” have already begun to reach out to elected officials “to bring the community together and to begin their transition to the Calvo Tenorio Administration.”
The release quotes Calvo as saying that “The most important thing for us to do right now is unite as a people. There are so many challenges and opportunities ahead for our people. It is our job from today and for the next four years to address those challenges and bring those opportunities to all Guamanians.”
And Tenorio is quoted as saying that “We’re very grateful the Camacho Administration has been working very hard on transition reports. As we promised, we will hit the ground running so we can bring this community together in realizing the Guamanian Dream for us all.”
