
Thousands of passengers and crew members aboard the Carnival Splendor are spending Sunday exploring Guam.
The vessel is one of the largest ships in the Carnival Cruise Lines fleet. It is 952 feet long, it has 13 decks and can carry up to 3,900 passengers and over 1,000 crew members.
The cruise liner arrived on Guam from Honolulu for a one-day visit. It departed about 6 p.m. The next stop is Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia and then on to Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.
The Carnival Splendor is on a 24-day trans-Pacific crossing that began in Long Beach, California, on Oct. 5 and will end in Singapore on Oct. 30.
