Guam – Of course it was primarily their excellent golf game, but also, the rains parted on Saturday October 6 down at the Onward Talofofo Golf Club to help the team of Mike Castro and Jake Barnes win the GCC Foundation Par Excellence Golf Tournament.

The two presented a gross score of 64, with a 68.8 net, to beat out the two-time defending tournament champions Lina Rojas and her nephew Redge Camacho, a senior on the Father Duenas Memorial School golf team. Rojas and Camacho shot a gross and net score of 70. Third place finishers were John Quinata and Cobe Barnes, grossing 69 but netting 70.2 in the tournament.
